Mari Stanton, violin

Violinist Mari Stanton began her violin studies at age four and is currently a student of James Maurer. She is a member of both the Denver Young Artists’ Orchestra (DYAO) and the Colorado Young Sinfonia (CYS). As a winner of the 2018 CYS Concerto Competition, Mari performed as a soloist with the orchestra at its two spring concerts. Additionally, she has soloed with the Littleton Symphony on multiple occasions and has received honorable mention in several other competitions including the DYAO String Ensemble Competition (2014) and the CYS Concerto Competition (2017). Aside from music, Mari enjoys skiing, CrossFit, and reading historical fiction novels.
